No For Yes

I guess I sort of knew that Indians 'nod' their head by shaking it side to side, but Indians I've met overseas have obviously learned not to do this to westerners. There's nothing quite like describing your 'brilliant' idea to someone while they sit there shaking their head from side to side as though everything coming out of your mouth is the work of an imbecile. Even knowing that they are actually agreeing, it is really hard to train your brain not to interpret that body language incorrectly.
